Please note there will be no Forest School session the first week back after the half term break.

Columbus - Tuesday

Brunel - Wednesday

Now that it is getting warmer -

Your child will need - 

a pair of Wellington boots

a long pair of trousers/leggings

a long sleeve top


Please ensure that these items are named.

Children in reception will aim a have a PE session every week on a Thursday afternoon.

Your child will need the following named clothes in school :-


  • Black shorts
  • White T-Shirt
  • A pair of black pumps


The PE Kit should be kept in a named drawstring bag and preferably left in school for the term.

Children will bring the kit home for washing at the end of the term. If you find that you have an item of clothing that does not belong to your child please return it to school.



Just to make you aware that on occasion children in reception do have head lice. 

Please click, for advice from the NHS on what to do if you find that your child has head lice or you are informed by your class teacher.

  • Please can all children bring a named book bag and a water bottle each day.  
  • Home readers are changed once a week on a Wednesday. Please ensure that your child's reading book and record are in their book bag on Tuesday.
