Deputy Headteacher Vacancy

 

This is an amazing opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment and be part of an enthusiastic team of educators. Manor School is entering an exciting new chapter as we begin our journey to join an established Multi-Academy Trust “GLF Schools”

GLF Schools is a highly successful Academy Trust which originated in Surrey. The Trust has around 30 schools and proudly offers leaders the unique opportunity to lead with authenticity and individuality as well as frequent opportunities for progression and professional development.

We are looking for an experienced professional ready for the next step towards Leadership. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational professional, highly driven and committed. In our school, high resilience brings with it high reward.

This is a full time position to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be offered a one year fixed term contract in the first instance although further exciting opportunities may well exist in the future!

We are a large two form entry primary school in Didcot, with excellent commuter links just a short walk from the train station & town centre. We have wonderful, supportive families and are a school at the heart of a vibrant community. We also benefit from excellent outdoor facilities and forest school.

Our Deputy will:

  • Work in partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to achieve the highest standard of pupil progress and attainment
  • Be committed to promoting the vision and values of the school so that all feel valued as individuals
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner
  • Be a team worker as well as a team leader
  • Have vision, energy and a forward-thinking outlook
  • Be proactive in supporting school development
